 e-FACS.org — The American College of Surgeons web portal expands the College's role as an information resource on patient care for the various surgical specialties and on advances in bioscience, research, and health policy by providing its members with a personalized gateway to the Internet that will (1) filter and facilitate their access to web-based information; (2) initiate and facilitate collaboration and exchange of ideas among members; and (3) provide a secure, single sign-on service that will be the entry point of access to organized web information coming from the College and other validated and reputable sources.  Human Subjects Training — This training must be completed for anyone who wishes to be involved in human subject research. If you are a new user, you will need to register and take the course. If you have taken the course previously, you will choose the refresher course. Training is valid for three years. Be sure to select the course that covers biomedical research, with drugs or devices and direct contact with human subjects. If you have any questions, contact Joan Kavanaugh (4-8140).
