| The Division was created in 1986 to establish a program to address the occupational and environmental health needs of the LI community including individual workers, unions, industry, business, providers and other worker groups. The Division grew with highly specialized medical staff and supporting team, and became fully equipped to provide a wide range of services in the field of Occupational & Environmental Medicine and participate in teaching and research, consistent with the University mission. |
