Lecture Halls
There are six (6) lecture halls in the Health Sciences Center (HSC). They can accommodate from 128-230 people. Lighting can be controlled from various locations by both dimmers and switches. All seating, writing surfaces, and the lectern are permanently fixed. Wireless internet service is available in all of our halls. Lecture Halls 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have electrical service at each seat to support sustained uninterrupted laptop use during exams.

When you have a confirmed reservation for a lecture hall during normal business hours, you will have full access to the Projection Booth which contains the following:

* (3) 35 mm projectors
* (1) 80-count carousel slide tray
* Audio recorder
* Amplified sound system
* Our renovated lecture halls also contain an LCD data projector

A confirmed reservation also guarantees that the following items will be available at the lectern:

* Remote control for one slide projector
* One electric pointer or laser pointer
* Chalk and eraser
* One lectern microphone
* Touch Panel Control - controls installed AV equipment and room lights. See AV lecture hall section for operating instructions.

-- During normal business hours, lecture halls are also set-up with an overhead projector with transparency roller and pen.

-- Wireless microphones can be signed out in the AV office.

-- All of our lecture halls have Internet access and four are capable of video-teleconferencing.

-- Our Audio Visual staff is available to assist and advise you on the best ways to utilize our facilities. Lecture halls can be used during off-hours, but special arrangements need to be made in advance with our AV staff.

Classroom & Seminar Room Profile
All classrooms and seminar rooms have movable seating, a blackboard, and a projection screen. The seats are basic student desk/chair.

With a confirmed reservation for any classroom, during normal business hours, faculty and staff can arrange through our AV staff to borrow equipment such as projectors, VCRs, overheads, TVs, etc. AV can be reached directly at 444-3230.
